About

Since 1975, the Northeast Arkansas Board of REALTORS® (NEABOR), a nonprofit organization, has equipped real estate professionals with the tools and support needed to grow and succeed in their careers. Only members of organizations like this are permitted to use the term REALTORS®. It is not interchangeable with “real estate agent”; rather, it is an exclusive designation reserved for members of the National Association of REALTORS®. The title represents professional expertise and a commitment to high ethical standards. Every member also pledges to follow the National Association of REALTORS®’ strict Code of Ethics.

The preamble emphasizes that every REALTOR® has a responsibility to support the free enterprise system and safeguard private property rights. The Northeast Arkansas Board of REALTORS® helps its members uphold this commitment by offering the education necessary to reach the highest levels of professionalism. It is one of the few boards in Arkansas with certified REALTOR® instructors who personally own and operate a real estate school. All courses provided are fully accredited for broker or salesperson licensure. Additionally, NEABOR’s committees host seminars on a wide range of real estate topics, from financing to fair housing and equal opportunity.
